General Secretariat
Your tasks
As part of your internship, you will provide scientific and logistical support to the scientific assistant responsible for national policy and international relations. You will notably contribute to the preparation of the Rector and Rectorate’s national and international commitments. Additionally, you will contribute to the institutional and political tasks of the General Secretariat.
Your profile
- You hold or are completing a Master’s degree from a university of applied sciences in political science, international relations, humanities and social sciences and/or public management;
- Experience related to politics or institutional matters is a plus (e.g. youth parliament);
- You have a strong interest in political issues and particularly in the field of higher education.
Your skills
- You have excellent summarising and writing skills;
- Proactive, autonomous and curious by nature, you have the ability to anticipate needs;
- You know how to integrate harmoniously into a team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders;
- Stress-resistant, you have an excellent capacity to adapt;
- You have an excellent knowledge of French with secure spelling (C2) and a good command of German (B1-B2) and English (B2). Knowledge of Italian is an asset.
Work rate: 80-100%
Contract duration: Fixed-term contract of 12 months – paid internship
Start date: From 01.12.2026 or to be agreed
Workplace: Lausanne with occasional travel in French-speaking Switzerland
