About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex. We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial experience in cleaning / laundry during a fixed-term assignment of 6 to 12 months starting 1 September 2026 or by arrangement at the Rosental Retirement Home.Your Tasks
- Maintenance and basic cleaning of residents' rooms, public areas, and sanitary facilities
- Proper use of various cleaning machines after training
- Preparation of laundry for our residents
- Support in service by attending to our residents and guests
Your Profile
- Desire to gain initial experience in domestic services tasks
- Interest in learning a versatile craft
- Willingness to work physically
- Flexibility to work in different shifts
- Willingness to work for our residents on weekends and public holidays
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect and oral German skills
