Role:
As Head of Accounting at our ROCKEN partner, you are responsible for the financial accounting of the parent company and a subsidiary in Romania. You lead a small team and ensure reliable financial statements, tax filings, and liquidity management. At the same time, you further develop processes and control instruments and manage the ongoing migration to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud from an accounting perspective.
Responsibilities:
You hold overall responsibility for the financial accounting of both companies as well as the personnel and professional leadership of the accounting team.
You are responsible for the general ledger, monthly and annual financial statements, as well as individual and consolidated financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER, and you oversee audits.
You ensure tax returns and VAT filings and support HR as a contact person for social security reconciliations.
You manage cash management and liquidity forecasts and maintain communication with auditors, authorities, and banks.
You continuously develop the internal control system and transfer pricing topics. You lead the potential introduction of Swiss GAAP FER in accounting.
During the ongoing migration to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, you represent the accounting department’s professional requirements with a particular focus on the accounts payable workflow.
Qualifications:
You have completed further training in finance, for example a federal diploma, a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or an equivalent qualification.
You have at least five years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the IT industry.
You have at least two years of experience in personnel management within a line organisation and guide changes and team development purposefully and empathetically.
Very good SAP knowledge in S/4HANA, FI, MM, and Fiori is required. Knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Central Invoice Management, and Power BI is an advantage.
You have demonstrably supported ERP transformation projects as a representative of the specialist department and as a user.
