About the job

- Leading, planning, and conducting on-site inspections at UBS domestically and abroad, with a primary focus on the Conduct/Supervisory area
- Communicating audit results to UBS senior management
- Close collaboration as a cross-functional role with UBS supervision and relevant specialists
- Ensuring complete documentation, in-depth clarification of regulatory violations and related issues; developing solution proposals and measures on organizational, personnel, operational, or financial levels
- Cooperation with foreign supervisory authorities (especially USA, Asia, UK)
- Introducing new ideas for the further development of workflows and tools
- University degree in economics or law, ideally further training as a certified public accountant or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a bank (compliance, control, or front office experience), at a banking audit firm, or in an internal bank audit department
- Experience in project management and analysis, very good organizational and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
- High judgment skills and very good oral and written communication skills
- Empathetic, communicative, and team-oriented personality with negotiation skills and a touch of humor
- Excellent German and English skills (C2) or very good knowledge of the other language (at least B2)
