Your role

As a finance accountant, you are the central contact person for accounting, payroll, and financial statements. In close collaboration with our CFO, you are responsible for the entire financial accounting, from daily business to the annual financial statements, ensuring our figures are reliable. At the same time, you actively shape our financial processes and thus help to place our growth on a solid foundation.

What you will achieve

• You manage the financial accounting of Solar21 AG and its subsidiary, including general ledger, inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounting
• You assist with accounts receivable management, dunning, and debt collection
• You prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the CFO
• You prepare VAT returns including sales reconciliations and the annual tax declaration
• You are responsible for payroll accounting for over 20 employees, including social insurance (registrations/deregistrations, changes, salary notifications) and reconciliation with financial accounting
• You are the contact person for the external audit
• You continuously optimise financial processes in our ERP system Flectra in collaboration with our IT team

What you bring

• Several years of practical experience in financial accounting including payroll accounting
• Commercial basic training, further education in accounting/controlling (e.g. professional certificate in finance and accounting) is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems and proficient with MS Office. Experience with Odoo / Flectra is a plus
• Enjoyment of challenges and working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment with a highly motivated team
• Networked thinking, solution-oriented action as well as independent and structured working style
• Very good German skills, French skills are an advantage
