With over 9,000 inhabitants, Aarburg is in the midst of an exciting development phase that will lead to a strong identity, economic success and an attractive place to live. Due to the resignation of the current postholder, we are looking for an employee for the construction workshop, 100% certified landscape gardener, from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.
The construction workshop is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of municipal roads, parks and playgrounds, green spaces and waters. It manages the public waste and material disposal sites and addresses littering. The construction workshop employees provide services at cultural and public events.
Your main tasks
- Maintenance and care of public facilities and redesign of planting beds and green areas
- Maintenance and repair work on roads, paths and squares
- Building foundations, retaining walls, squares, curbs, paths or stairs from stone or slabs
- Tree and hedge care
- General workshop duties
- Waste disposal and waste collection rounds
- Winter service snow clearance
Your strengths
- Certified landscape gardener or similar training (e.g. specialist in operational maintenance with a focus on workshop service)
- Enjoyment of an independent area of responsibility
- An independent, efficient and precise way of working
- Driving licence category B/BE
- Resilience and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Good knowledge of German
