Customs Declarant Import / Export 80-100 %

About the job

Area of responsibility:

• Independent & active participation in daily business / processing and tariff classification of import shipments
• Collaboration with the customs office (customs matters & internal customs procedural processes)
• Ensuring a high quality and service standard in customs tariff classification and customer advice
• Correspondence, specialised clarifications and maintaining contacts (internal / external)
• Accompanying and supporting customers in implementation and execution

Qualification and requirements:

• Ideally training as a customs declarant and several years of professional experience as well as sound expertise in the Swiss customs system and tariff classification
• Good user knowledge of customs system solutions and the MS Office suite
• An honest personality, with a pronounced quality and customer service awareness, an efficient & independent working style, who thinks and acts flexibly and solution-oriented
• Ability to remain calm, even in hectic times, and the ability to prioritise
• Very good communication skills in German and possibly further language skills (F/E)
