Laundry Services Staff

In the Facility and Real Estate Services sector, over 500 employees from around 44 nations are employed, which includes departments such as cleaning, laundry and bedding supply, as well as wardrobe management. The workwear service offers modern clothing dispensing systems at four locations on the Inselspital campus, through which employees can collect and return their workwear around the clock. Furthermore, the workwear service manages 9,384 electronic wardrobe lockers and compartments, which correspond to the latest technology and the requirements of a modern hospital.

What to expect

• You are the contact person for internal customers regarding laundry supply questions
• You are responsible for the preparation and execution of employee entries and exits with regard to the allocation of workwear and wardrobes
• You manage the software of the electronic workwear dispensers
• You check and stock the clothing dispensers
• You manage the software of the electronic wardrobes
• You are proficient in the ordering system for operational laundry and its processes
• You accompany and support our apprentices and plan the deployments in laundry supply in collaboration with the vocational training manager Facility & Real Estate Services
• Your shifts are between 06:00 and 17:30, Monday to Friday (planned in advance)

What you bring

• Completed basic education (EFZ) in cleaning, housekeeping or building cleaning
• Professional experience in laundry supply and housekeeping is an advantage
• Independent, careful and reliable working style
• Good customer handling skills in direct and telephone contact
• Teamwork skills as well as a strong service orientation
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form (B1/B2)
• Confident PC user skills (MS Office)
• Various sewing tasks come easily to you
• High flexibility
