In the exciting field of railway automation, you actively shape the infrastructure of our railway control systems. You accompany new solutions from the concept phase through development and piloting to implementation at the customer. In doing so, you work closely with development, product management, project teams, and service operations and contribute to providing future-proof, secure, and highly available OT infrastructures.
Your tasks
- Development of infrastructure and architecture concepts as well as technical responsibility in development and pilot projects from the offer to implementation
- Planning, design, realisation, testing, and commissioning of highly available OT infrastructures and IP networks for the Iltis Traffic Management System (TMS)
- Setup, configuration, and continuous further development of server, virtualisation, and network infrastructures
- Analysis of existing OT environments as well as development of optimisation and standardisation measures
- Implementation and further development of cybersecurity measures in the OT environment
- Collaboration in the further development of infrastructure standards, tools, and automation solutions
- Taking on on-call duties (4 to 6 weeks per year) as well as occasional on-site assignments within the scope of customer projects and commissioning
Your talents and skills
- Completed studies (HF/FH/ETH) or comparable education in the field of computer science, systems engineering, or OT
- Several years of experience in multiple areas such as networks, virtualisation, Windows Server, OT systems, or cybersecurity
- Experience with network technologies, preferably Cisco
- Enjoyment in combining architecture, engineering, product launch, and project work
- Independent, structured, process-compliant, and responsible working style
- Willingness for on-call and occasional commissioning assignments
- Very good German and very good English skills, additional national languages are a plus
