Job Description
Job purpose:
- Ensure the complete administrative management of arrivals and shipments at the Monthey site in accordance with current HSE-Q procedures, manage incoming and outgoing logistics flows respecting customer deadlines, and manage the entire internal wagon fleet.
Responsibilities
Specific shipping tasks:
- Planning shipments from Monthey and daily follow-up
- Preparation/checking of documents necessary for the dispatch of goods and shipments outside
- SAP (technical material and samples)
- Management of customer deliveries
- Supply of empty ISO tanks
- Handling shipments of waste in tank wagons
Specific receiving tasks:
- Management of supplier notices for Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging (PKG)
- Management of RM and PKG goods receipts in compliance with established procedures and validation of entry reports
- Handling of receiving complaints and customer returns
- Ensuring stock accuracy in zone 902 and inventory
- Organisation and management of empty returns (tanks, isotanks and containers)
- Management of arrivals and departures of powder containers and saturated carbon filters
Administrative management tasks:
- Updating daily, weekly and monthly statistics
- Overall management of the rented wagon fleet (inspection, repair, washing, reassignment)
Customer contacts:
- Permanent contact/support/advice regarding receiving and shipping for logistics, planning, other production sectors, 4PL and, if necessary, external customers
- Ensure good operational coordination/communication with the QC group, Order
- Managers, planning (vendor scheduler) and warehouses
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in logistics, transport or international trade
- Commercial employee CFC, ideally complemented by the federal diploma of specialist in shipping/international trade
- Very good knowledge and mastery of Swiss customs formalities
- Mastery and application of regulations on the transport of dangerous goods
- IATA training
- Knowledge of Incoterms and regulations according to the mode of transport
- Knowledge of SAP (especially MM / WM modules)
- Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Languages: French, English: read, spoken and written, German is a plus
