About the job
The Waldheim Foundation offers people with intellectual, physical and psychological disabilities a variety of residential and day-structure places in six residential homes. More than 340 employees are committed to the high quality of life of around 220 clients.
The Riding Centre Rüti consists of a therapy and riding operation with around 19 jobs in the second labour market, residential places as well as 15 horses, to which an agricultural operation is attached. The residential places are distributed between the main house of the riding centre and various external residential groups.
With immediate effect or by arrangement, we are looking for a fixed-term position until 31 December 2026:
Equine Specialist EFZ (80-100%)
What to expect:
- Accompanying and supporting our clients in the day structure while working with the horses
- An exciting and varied position in a PT-CH recognised therapy operation
- Maintaining health as part of the compensatory work of our therapy horses
- Horse care and stable work
- Giving riding lessons and assisting with therapy sessions
What we expect:
- You have a specialised professional training (equine specialist)
- A social or pedagogical basic profession is an advantage
- You are motivated and professionally qualified, physically fit and enjoy working outdoors
- Love for horses and working with people are your priorities
- You like taking responsibility and enjoy working in a motivated team
- You are willing to work at weekends or on public holidays
