Field of activity
During your apprenticeship, you work at one of the seven districts of the Grisons Technical Office.
As an automotive mechatronics technician, you perform system and functionality checks as well as simple diagnostic work on cars and vans. You repair engines, transmissions, mechanics, and electronics. You independently carry out service and inspection tasks. You perform fuel injection system tests using special equipment and carry out system settings as well as brake tests and check the electronic components of the mechanics, e.g., brake assistance devices. In the field of fault finding and repairs, you perform fault diagnostics and identify and eliminate causes, check driver assistance and infotainment systems as well as hybrid and electric propulsion systems, and replace defective components.
