Parent Education

The parent education of the Ottenbach primary school promotes constructive cooperation between school and parents. Parent education is aimed at parents, grandparents and other adults who spend time with children in the various stages of life, from toddlers to adolescents.

Parent education imparts knowledge and skills to caregivers that promote and strengthen their parenting competence. It aims to support the healthy development of children and adolescents and to act preventively.

• Parent education supports parents in their parenting role.
• Parent education strengthens self-confidence in dealing with our children and adolescents.
• Parent education provides space for reflection, exchange and networking.

Parent education events are always led by a professional and usually take place once a year.

In addition, we organise an annual sexual education prevention project for the pupils and parents of the 5th grade: www.mfm-projekt.ch.
