About the Role

Do you want to develop a new market without starting from scratch? In this role, you will shape the further development of our retail media business for Switzerland. You will leverage existing customer relationships from Germany, Austria, Belgium, and other markets and work together with the responsible account owners to develop concrete growth and monetisation potentials for Switzerland.

At the same time, you will analyse which additional companies, brands, and decision-makers are relevant for Redcare and develop new business opportunities from this. This combines strategic account development with proactive business development and you will take commercial responsibility for expanding the Swiss retail media market.

Your Responsibilities

• You develop a structured market and account strategy for Switzerland and prioritise relevant customers, brands, categories, and decision-makers.
• You analyse existing international customer relationships and identify, together with the respective account owners, which retail media and revenue potentials can be unlocked for Switzerland.
• You specifically develop existing customer partnerships further and proactively approach new strategic customers and decision-makers where no suitable relationship yet exists.
• You take commercial responsibility from potential analysis and strategic consulting through forecasts and joint business plans to pricing, rate cards, tier models, and contract conclusions.
• You develop robust business cases and suitable retail media solutions and ensure successful implementation together with campaign management, data, ad tech, procurement, and international sales teams.

Qualifications

About You

• You have a degree in business administration, marketing, or a comparable field, or an equivalent professional qualification, and bring at least five years of relevant professional experience.
• You have experience in key account management, sales, business development, or digital advertising – ideally in retail media, commerce media, or e-commerce – and are familiar with formats such as sponsored products, display, and programmatic advertising.
• You can demonstrate that you have expanded existing customer relationships into new markets, solutions, or budgets and independently developed additional business potentials.
• You combine strategic thinking with commercial initiative and have experience in complex annual, budget, pricing, or contract negotiations as well as in developing data-driven business cases.
• You speak German at C1 level and fluent English, work independently in an international stakeholder environment, and are willing to travel up to 25%. French and experience with the Swiss market are a plus.
