Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, an internationally active Swiss engineering company in mechanical engineering, we are seeking reinforcement for the finance team in the Aargau/Lucerne region. The position is newly filled as part of a succession arrangement. You independently manage the financial accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and VAT, and are a central support in the small finance team.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for financial accounting and manage the entire accounting in the ERP system Abacus
You manage the general ledger and cash including bookings, reconciliations, and administration
You support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You prepare evaluations and reconciliations, e.g. for sales bonuses, cost centres, and contribution margins
You independently manage accounts payable: supplier registration, invoice posting, payment runs as well as expense and credit card accounting
You independently manage accounts receivable, post invoices and incoming payments, handle dunning and debt collection, and assist in maintaining the customer base
You prepare VAT returns for Switzerland and Germany, determine the bank balance, and check bank guarantees
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by further training in finance
You bring practical experience in accounts payable and receivable as well as dunning
You have a strong affinity for numbers, knowledge of VAT in Switzerland and Germany, and work precisely and reliably
You are confident with MS Office; experience with Abacus is an advantage
You have very good German skills; English or French skills are an advantage
