As Managing Director, you will assume overall operational responsibility for our pension institution and, together with a small, dedicated team, ensure professional and customer-oriented support for the insured and affiliated companies.

The Pension Fund of the Biel Hospital Centre manages the mandatory and supplementary occupational pension provision for employees. As Managing Director, you will assume overall operational responsibility for our pension institution and, together with a small, dedicated team, ensure professional and customer-oriented support for the insured and affiliated companies.

Your tasks – our position
- Overall management and operational leadership of the pension fund
- Management of pension fund business in compliance with regulations and legal requirements
- Professional and personnel management of a team of three employees, including two focusing on property management and administration
- Support and advice for the insured and affiliated employers
- Responsibility for the correct handling of day-to-day occupational pension business
- Collaboration with the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee, including preparation and support of meetings
- Support for the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee in implementing the investment strategy, especially in the area of direct real estate investments
- Coordination and control of cooperation with external partners and service providers
- Monitoring of legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring professional communication in German and French
Your skills – our requirements
- Qualification as a certified pension fund manager or university degree in business administration or equivalent training in social insurance
- Several years of practical experience in occupational pension provision, ideally in a leadership role
- Sense of responsibility and high social competence
- Independent, structured and reliable working style
- Leadership experience and strong communication skills for internal and external representation
- Very good oral and written skills in German or French with good knowledge of the other language
- Knowledge in the management of direct real estate investments
