Plant and Equipment Builder in Toolmaking

• Professional assembly of assemblies (thermoforming tools)
• Maintenance, overhaul and repair of existing tools
• Technical assessment and preventive inspection of tool components
• Turning, milling, polishing, grinding and laser welding of workpieces
• Drilling vacuum holes according to specified specifications
• Participation in optimisations and mechanical improvements to tools
• Support in building up and maintaining technical know-how in toolmaking

• Training as a plant and equipment builder EFZ, polymechanic EFZ, toolmaker or similar
• Experience in conventional and NC-controlled metalworking
• Enjoyment of precise fine mechanical work as well as assembly of technical assemblies
• Confident reading of technical drawings and precise implementation in practice
• High dexterity, pronounced manual skills and enjoyment of precision work
• Good spatial imagination as well as an exact and reliable working method
• Independent, solution-oriented and responsible personality
