You want to actively shape the digital development of our bank and at the same time take on leadership responsibility? Are you passionate about payment, CardBanking and new technologies as well as people, projects and change?

As Head of Digitalisation and Projects for CardBanking & Payment, you take responsibility for an established value stream with experienced employees possessing broad professional know-how. This role offers you the opportunity to actively shape the future of our bank in an environment that will change significantly in the coming years. New technologies, changing customer needs, regulatory requirements and new market participants shape the development of business models and processes. You recognise relevant developments early, derive the right fields of action and shape the future direction together with your team.

• Leadership and further development of a value stream with around nine employees. You promote personal responsibility, create orientation and shape change together with your team.
• Overall responsibility for digitalisation and projects for CardBanking & Payment with a focus on coordinated and future-oriented alignment.
• Strategic and operational development of action fields in the payment and CardBanking environment, taking into account technological, regulatory and market developments.
• Design and prioritisation of digitalisation, project and change initiatives – from idea and conception to successful implementation.
• Ensuring customer-oriented, secure and future-proof solutions and services as well as continuous optimisation of the underlying processes and systems.
• Coordination of requirements and dependencies between departments, IT, operations as well as internal and external partners and creation of clear decision-making bases.

What you bring

Leadership experience and the ability to promote employees, delegate responsibility and successfully lead a team through change.

• A higher education or further training (at least university of applied sciences) in banking, economics, business informatics or a comparable field
• Sound knowledge in the banking payment environment as well as a good understanding of relevant products, processes, systems and market mechanisms. You are also familiar with the CardBanking environment and the corresponding products and technologies.
• A good sense for technological, regulatory and market developments in payment and the ability to derive relevant fields of action for the future.
• Solid project management skills and several years of experience in leading demanding projects.
• Strong business/IT understanding as well as enthusiasm for digitalisation and new technologies. You recognise their potential for banking and payment and can connect professional requirements with technological possibilities.
• Clear and target-group appropriate communication, high willingness to change and the ability to align different interests towards common goals.
• Experience with Avaloq or comparable core banking systems is an advantage.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
