Deputy Head of Department Housekeeping (80-100%)

starting August 2026 or by arrangement.

In this versatile role, you take responsibility in housekeeping and ensure smooth processes with your commitment – even behind the scenes. You have a lot of independence and can actively help shape things.

Your daily routine with us

Supporting the Head of Department Housekeeping and deputizing during her absence
Coordinating the workday and performing various administrative tasks
Cleaning residents' rooms, public areas, and rental apartments
Assisting in laundry services (ensuring the laundry cycle)
Accompanying and supporting our apprentices in housekeeping
Carrying out and planning special tasks (e.g., final cleaning, special cleaning)
Organizing and carrying out material procurement and inventory management
Ensuring compliance with prescribed safety, hygiene, and quality guidelines (e.g., instructions)

What you bring

Completed training in housekeeping as well as several years of professional and leadership experience in healthcare (nursing home or hospital)
Completed vocational trainer course
Willingness to work weekend shifts
Enjoyment in working with elderly people and a respectful demeanor
An independent, reliable, and careful working style with a high quality awareness
Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and appreciative collaboration
