About the job
The Münchwilen school operates three school centres with around 700 pupils. The daily school life is characterised by mutual support, an appreciative attitude, and open communication. We place great importance on providing children with a safe school environment and positive learning experiences, and we create an attractive working environment for our staff.With immediate effect or by arrangement, we are looking for a school leader (65% workload) for our Waldegg school centre.
Areas of responsibility:
- You lead the Waldegg school centre, currently with 20 class and subject teachers and around 170 children from 1st to 3rd secondary school
- You manage your school centre operationally, have a strong interest in school development and educational policy project work
- You lead your staff competently, clearly, and empathetically
- You develop the school further together with the school authority and the school leadership team
- You regularly exchange information with the school authority about processes and concerns
- You attend meetings and table important topics in the minutes
- You take on teaching lessons in Cycle III where possible
The workload can be increased on request or as needed by taking on teaching lessons or additional functions.
Your profile:
- You have completed school leadership training
- Your leadership style is characterised by empathy and assertiveness, foresight, a sense of responsibility, resilience, and loyalty to the school
- You bring experience in the educational environment
- You have knowledge of business administration, project management, and organisation
