Freight Forwarding Clerk Sea Freight

Initial Situation

We are currently seeking freight forwarding clerks with sea freight experience for various business units. Whether a small SME or an internationally operating large company – the range of functions is diverse and offers different development opportunities.

Tasks

• independently handling sea freight shipments in import and/or export
• organising and coordinating LCL and FCL transports
• supporting and advising customers as well as international partners
• obtaining and calculating freight rates and preparing quotations
• processing shipments in the areas of pharmaceuticals, IMDG, general cargo or project sea freight
• preparing and checking transport and shipping documents
• monitoring shipments and deadlines as well as resolving irregularities

Requirements

• completed training as a freight forwarding clerk
• professional experience in sea freight, ideally in import and/or export
• knowledge in one or more areas such as pharmaceuticals, IMDG, general cargo or project sea freight
• independent, reliable and customer-oriented working style

Languages

German: spoken and written very good
