Animal Care Technician
Job description
- Observation, feeding and daily care of laboratory animals.
- Participation in daily washing tasks to clean the various cages and rooms. This involves operating the autoclave, using professional washing tanks, handling loads and handling bleach.
- Implementation of good laboratory practices within the animal facility. Implementation of strict prophylaxis and respect for the so-called forward flow processes.
- Participation in on-call duties during weekends, public holidays and holidays.
- Assistance to experimenters
Required title and skills
Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as animal keeper or equivalent qualification.
