The Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Outpatient (Centre Director Dr med Katrin Hanno) is part of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Prof Dr med Marc Walter). With its five locations (Aarau, Baden, Rheinfelden, Wohlen and Zofingen), it offers local psychiatric care for the population in the canton of Aargau. The centre includes four outpatient clinics with specialist consultations, group therapies and work coaching, as well as four day centres where adult patients are treated. In addition, the centre comprises the two day clinics in Aarau and Baden as well as the "Practice for Your Mental Health" in Zofingen.

Profile

• You hold a specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy recognised in Switzerland or are close to completing it
• You speak German as your mother tongue or possess a language certificate at level C1
• Ideally, you already have experience in personnel management
• You act independently, make confident decisions and show diverse professional interest
• You enjoy working confidently and routinely in interdisciplinary teams
• You work in a structured, flexible and solution-oriented manner

Responsibilities

• You lead and coordinate the personnel assigned to you from various professional groups in the interdisciplinary treatment team
• You support assistant doctors and assistant psychologists in training and supervision
• You prepare and supervise medical reports for referrers, insurance companies, legal representatives and other clients
• You actively lead team meetings and training sessions
• You conduct group psychotherapies in collaboration with an assistant
• You take on managerial duties in the outpatient clinic and participate in the PDAG duty system (approx. 6 weekend days per year at 100% workload)
• You assess adult patients with mental disorders, treat them and take on crisis interventions and triage
• You conduct site meetings with relatives, legal guardians, employers, residential care staff and other contacts
• You show openness and flexibility towards future developments and are willing to actively help shape and take on new areas of responsibility
