We are looking for an entrepreneurial and strong leadership personality who will take overall responsibility for our Building Automation segment. The position is central to the strategic development of the business area and the sustainability of our market success.

Your contribution to our team

In this role, you bear overall responsibility for the strategy, organisation and professional management of the Building Automation segment. You develop the area purposefully, sharpen the go-to-market strategy and ensure the achievement of targets regarding turnover and margin. You lead the specialists in the regions professionally as well as the category managers disciplinarily and consistently develop competencies, portfolio and solutions. At the same time, you are responsible for forecasting, budgeting and performance management and derive strategic measures based on market, competition and technology analyses.

Another focus lies in ensuring high quality and efficiency: you define and manage relevant KPIs, further develop standards and processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements. You take responsibility for complex or critical issues. As a central interface, you also build long-term relationships with key customers, suppliers and partners and represent the Building Automation area internally and externally.

Your profile

• Technical building services or commercial further education (BSc/MSc) at tertiary level (HF/FH)
• Several years of leadership experience in the building automation market or in a technical environment
• Strong analytical skills as well as experience in KPI-based management (forecast, budget, performance)
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong negotiation skills and consistent implementation

Sound knowledge of the Swiss building automation market as well as relevant manufacturers, technologies and market trends

• Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on team development
• Very good German and English skills as well as good French skills
• Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%) within Switzerland and occasionally internationally
