The Outpatient Clinic for Torture and War Victims SRK offers specialized support for people who have survived severe experiences of violence and war. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, professionally skilled individual as a Social Worker 60 - 70% starting April 1, 2026 or by arrangement, who is ready to take on a key role and actively help shape our further development.
What you can achieve
- You conduct psychosocial diagnostics within the scope of our mandate, advise and support clients, and handle the associated administrative tasks, always in close collaboration with our interdisciplinary treatment team.
- You network with external specialist agencies and provide case-related advice to institutions and professionals on topics such as migration, integration, transculturality, and conflicts.
- You contribute occasionally to projects and participate in the conception, development, and implementation of internal and external training sessions.
- You regularly attend case discussions, supervisions, and internal training sessions and actively contribute to quality assurance.
- Our work model is role-based. Therefore, we seek a person who enjoys taking responsibility, is flexible in adapting to new roles, and sees changes as opportunities for development.
- If interested and suitable, you may take on the role of personnel responsibility.
What you bring with you
- Completed degree in Social Work as well as further training in psychiatry or counseling; at least two years of professional experience.
- Experience in clinical social work and/or social work in the asylum or migration context.
- Interest in the challenging work with traumatized refugees and enjoyment in collaborating within an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- A person who maintains an overview even in challenging situations, approaches new things openly, and actively contributes – especially where a driving force is needed.
- Very good German skills; additional language skills are a great advantage for working with clients from crisis and war zones.
