Special ward for patients with severe behavioural disorders (SAP).
Inpatient rehabilitation for patients with severe behavioural disorders following brain injury requires a daily structure specifically tailored to them. An interprofessional treatment team is responsible for this.
The focus is on building trust and relationships with the patients.
The patients are at the very beginning of what is often a long rehabilitation process.
The goal is to integrate these individuals into the rehabilitation routine on other wards.
