The Senior Financial Analyst partners with the Supply Chain function to deliver accurate planning, reporting, and performance analysis within the rolling forecast and budget cycle. The role provides cost transparency, identifies risks and opportunities, and delivers data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst supports cross-functional initiatives, drives process improvements, and enhances analytical tools to strengthen financial performance and cost competitiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive financial performance planning in line with the BU’s long-term strategic goals
- Prepare comprehensive evaluations, financial analyses, and ensure accurate cost controlling
- Manage the end-to-end CAPEX investment process for the BU, partnering closely with Engineering and other relevant cross-functional stakeholders
- Provide timely business statements and respond to ad hoc requests from senior management and cross-functional teams
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal customers, supporting decision-making with financial insights and scenario analyses

- Maintain close collaboration with cost center managers, ensuring effective financial governance and accountability
- Serve as the key interface between finance and business functions, translating financial information into actionable recommendations
- Ensure effective financial governance and controlling across the BU, with focus on fixed asset management.
- Participate in task forces and cross-functional projects to support compliance, efficiency, and transformation initiatives
- Monitor adherence to financial policies, processes, and reporting standards
- Support the continuous improvement of analytical procedures, financial systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA) preferred
- 3–5 years of progressive finance experience, in financial analysis, business partnering, or controlling, ideally gained within consumer goods, audit, or a multinational finance environment
- Proven track record in financial planning, reporting, and performance management with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a high affinity for numbers
- Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage complex tasks under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Resilient and committed, with excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills; adaptable to dynamic business environments and changing priorities
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written), fluency in German is an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); strong working knowledge of SAP/BW; experience with modern analytics and visualization tools is desirable (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach
