Role:
As a Polymechanic, you are responsible for the precise manufacture and processing of tool components and customer parts. You work with modern CNC milling machines, CAD/CAM systems and 3D erosion milling machines and actively contribute your technical know-how to production and the further development of processes.
Responsibilities:
Independent manufacture, assembly and programming of tool components and customer parts
Modifying and optimising 3D models from tool design
Programming 3D milling contours with a CAD/CAM system or directly on the machine
Setting up and processing workpieces on CNC milling machines
Programming, setting up and operating 3D erosion milling machines
Managing and maintaining CNC programmes and milling tools in the CAD/CAM system
Supporting milling work for tool maintenance and related specialist areas
Contributing to the optimisation of manufacturing processes and the further development of modern machining methods
Supporting and mentoring apprentices in the technical environment
Qualifications:
Completed training as a Polymechanic EFZ or a comparable technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in CNC milling and CAD/CAM programming
Experience in programming and setting up CNC machining centres
Ideally knowledge in the area of 3D erosion milling
Precise, independent and responsible working style
Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of precise manufacturing
Interest in technical developments and modern manufacturing technologies
Enjoyment in training and mentoring apprentices
