Diploma Specialist in Surgical Technology HF (in Training)

During this three-year training, you will learn the diverse tasks of a diploma specialist in surgical technology HF through theoretical blocks at the Vocational and Continuing Education Centre for Health and Social Professions St. Gallen and practical work in the hospitals of Schaffhausen. The application process includes a three-day internship. What Awaits You

• Provision and coordination of the required instruments, materials and equipment
• Instrumenting during surgical procedures
• Working according to applicable hygiene concepts in the operating area
• Instrument preparation and material control
• Co-responsibility for patient care before, during and after an operation
