What you can achieve
- Responsibility for all operational procurement matters in collaboration with the team colleague
- Processing and triggering orders while considering specialist and commercial objectives
- Obtaining and comparing quotations
- Price and contract negotiations
- Developing supplier contracts in cooperation with the Business Unit
- Opening and maintaining purchasing master data in SAP
- Completion and monitoring of all administrative accompanying and follow-up tasks related to procurement, e.g. appointments, dunning, invoices, complaints, etc.
- Supporting strategic procurement
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed commercial or technical basic training with commercial further education (procurement specialist, certified purchaser) or a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering (university of applied sciences or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement as well as extensive procurement market knowledge in a technical environment
- Knowledge/experience in international procurement and contract management is an advantage
- German and English spoken and written (business fluent)
- Very good MS Office and SAP skills (S/4HANA advantageous)
- Quick comprehension and ability to structure complex issues
- Ability to communicate purposefully with internal clients and team colleagues
