Your new role

As a competent payroll specialist, you will take on a responsible role in a demanding and complex HR department for teaching staff. You will be responsible for entry and exit administration and calculate salary classifications according to the applicable guidelines. In addition, you will be responsible for payroll-related processes concerning substitutions and unpaid leave. In close cooperation with the school secretariats, you will ensure smooth administrative handling and provide competent advice on payroll, insurance, and personnel-related issues. Due to the complexity of the employment and salary system in the school environment, you can expect an exciting and varied range of tasks with high professional responsibility.

This position is for you if you

• have training as an HR assistant (HRSE certificate) or as a payroll expert.
• have several years of proven professional experience in payroll, preferably in the teaching staff environment or in a public-law institution.
• have sound knowledge of Swiss social insurances; experience in international HR is an advantage.
• have good user knowledge of the ABACUS payroll system.
• maintain a careful, reliable, and independent working style.
• see yourself as a loyal, service-oriented personality and appreciate contact with different stakeholders.
