The cross-sectional Operations area consists of the departments of Hospitality, Economics, Property Maintenance, Security and Forensic Security Service of PDAG. The numerous tasks and services not only ensure the smooth operation of PDAG but also create important conditions for the development of treatment efficiency, treatment effectiveness, and the attractiveness of the workplace and treatment. In addition, the Operations area is responsible for property projects, which include not only letting and leasing but also the construction of properties, maintenance, and renovation of buildings.

Profile

• Higher education or further training at university/FH/HF level in Facility Management and further training at university/FH/HF level in Management/Business Administration
• Several years of leadership experience in a comparable role with personnel, organisational and financial overall responsibility across several hierarchical levels
• Experience in planning and budgeting as well as in leading and managing demanding construction, renovation, infrastructure or organisational projects
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as a strong understanding of operational safety, quality and operator responsibility
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and understanding of business contexts
• Good communication and cooperation skills as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary and cross-functional work
• Convincing leadership personality with high social competence, decisiveness, negotiation skills and sense of responsibility
• Affinity for digitalisation and process development as well as confident handling of modern digital work tools
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written

Tasks

• Personnel, organisational, professional and entrepreneurial leadership and further development of the Operations area (Hospitality, Economics, Technology, Properties, Security)
• Ensuring a high level of service and customer orientation, providing needs-based, high-quality and economical services and further developing hospitality and service offerings
• Ensuring a safe, reliable and legally compliant operation of operational and technical infrastructures as well as fulfilling relevant operator duties
• Developing sound decision-making bases for short-, medium- and long-term maintenance and investment planning in the area of properties and operational infrastructures, taking into account lifecycle, cost-effectiveness, quality and user needs
• Leading and/or participating in operational and strategic construction, renovation, infrastructure and site development projects
• Representing PDAG towards internal and external stakeholders and supporting the Marketing and Communications department in internal and external information work
• As a member of the Executive Board, operational overall responsibility for PDAG and, together with the Board of Directors, involvement in the entrepreneurial further development of PDAG
