The Directorate for Civil Engineering, Transport and Urban Green ensures an attractive public space. Civil Engineering City of Bern is the owner and client/operator of all municipal civil engineering infrastructures.
What you will achieve
- Carry out maintenance and construction work on the municipal road and path network
- Perform surfacing and concrete work as well as work on pavements, squares and natural paths
- Carry out work outside infrastructure facilities (events, impact protection) and take on maintenance work in the area of traffic management and special maintenance
- Perform duties in the winter service on-call roster
What you bring
- Completed vocational training in the main construction trade, ideally as a Road Builder EFZ or Bricklayer EFZ
- Several years of professional experience
- Driving licence category B
- Independent working style, interested, proactive, reliable and a team player
- Willingness to perform on-call and special duties
