Head of Finance and Accounting OR, HGB (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF118,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced head with comprehensive responsibility for finance, accounting and controlling at group level. Our client develops innovative projects in the field of deep geothermal energy and works with energy suppliers, research partners and other specialists on sustainable solutions for electricity and heat production. The company offers a technically and scientifically oriented environment, international project references, high personal responsibility as well as attractive opportunities for professional and personal development.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for finance and accounting of several group companies in Switzerland and Germany
Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general and fixed asset accounting
Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR, Swiss GAAP FER and HGB
Preparation and monitoring of budget, forecast and liquidity planning
Development and further enhancement of project and investment controlling
Monitoring of fund utilisation, project costs and investments as well as support with financing issues
Preparation of VAT returns and tax declarations for Switzerland and Germany
Preparation of financial analyses, reports and decision-making bases for management and project managers
Qualifications:
Higher business education FH/University with a focus on finance or comparable qualification, alternatively expert in accounting and controlling
Several years of professional and management experience in a comparable SME function
Solid experience in project management as well as project and investment controlling
Very good knowledge of OR, Swiss GAAP FER and HGB
Very good German language skills spoken and written; English skills are an advantage
