For a dynamic Swiss company in the field of real estate management and site development in the Bern-Mittelland region, we are looking for an independent and committed individual to join us immediately or by arrangement as a Finance Specialist.

In this key role, you will take operational responsibility for the financial accounting of several companies and work closely with the management team.

Your Main Tasks

• Financial Accounting & Closings: Independent management of the accounting for several mandates/companies including preparation of interim and annual financial statements as well as support during annual audits.

• Subsidiary Ledgers & Cash Management: Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting as well as monitoring of dunning and debt collection processes.

• Taxes & VAT: Independent preparation of Swiss tax and value-added tax returns (including mixed-use properties).

• Real Estate Accounting: Management of property accounting and preparation of heating and ancillary cost statements.

• Contact Person & Advisory: Central contact for internal and external partners (e.g. audit firms, authorities) on financial matters.

• Process Optimisation & Digitalisation: Active participation in reviewing, further developing, and digitalising existing financial processes.

• Education: Commercial basic training with recognised advanced training in finance and accounting (e.g. Finance and Accounting Specialist Certificate, Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Controlling/Taxation, or an equivalent qualification).

• Professional Experience: Several years of solid experience in finance and accounting with proven independent closing expertise.

• Expertise: Good knowledge of Swiss VAT law and experience in fiduciary or real estate accounting is an advantage.

• Working Style: Independent, structured, and precise working style with a high sense of responsibility and service orientation.

• Languages: Business fluent German skills in spoken and written form (Swiss German not mandatory).
