Your tasks
- Ensure the strategic management of the budgets of the IT Directorate (DIT) of the University
- Supervise the operational management of the DIT budgets
- Ensure financial controlling and budget planning
- Manage the administrative lifecycle of workstations and standard software (from purchase to decommissioning)
- Define processes for software asset management to ensure control
- Identify synergies in the software inventory, promote standardisation and implement optimisation measures
- Ensure the quality of the inventory of workstations (PC, Mac & Linux) in collaboration with the Service Desk team
- Measure and continuously improve processes and procedures within the area of responsibility
Desired profile
- You have a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field or an equivalent recognised qualification
- You have experience in financial management and procurement (public procurement), ideally in the IT sector
- You have experience in software asset management
- You value teamwork and collaboration in a matrix organisation
- You are able to negotiate with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers, taking their conditions into account
- You are characterised by a strong service and results orientation. You are well acquainted with the principles of continuous improvement and familiar with the basics of project management
- You are proficient in French or German and have good knowledge of the other language; additionally, you have command of English, both spoken and written
