Your main tasks

• Support consulting projects at banks and other financial service providers, for example in the areas of AML/KYC, financial market law issues, project management, assessment of regulatory implementations and formulation of recommendations for action
• Conduct supervisory audits at (Swiss) banks and other financial intermediaries as an extended arm of FINMA
• Assess compliance with supervisory regulations, especially in the areas of anti-money laundering and suitability. You will participate in process audits and reporting and acquire in-depth knowledge in relevant topics such as client onboarding, risk disclosure in investment business, investment advisory process, portfolio management, effectiveness of internal control systems, adequacy of the compliance function, as well as cross-border activities
• Expand your understanding of the Swiss financial industry and the business models of various financial service providers and use this knowledge for well-founded advice
• Opportunity to participate in the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements of financial service providers
• Benefit from continuous internal training by participating in various trainings at home and abroad on auditing, consulting services and the possibility of obtaining external qualifications (e.g. Certified Public Accountant, ACAMS)

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (university or university of applied sciences) in economics, business law or law
• 2-3 years of professional experience in consulting, auditing or in a regulatory function such as compliance, anti-money laundering office or risk control (preferably related to Swiss banks)
• Very good German and English skills, French skills are a plus
• A strong interest in working in consulting and auditing, with a regulatory focus in banking and asset management
• A pronounced analytical understanding and quick comprehension to quickly familiarise yourself with new topics
• Enjoyment in dealing with other people - whether directly with our clients or your future team colleagues
