About the job
What awaits you
- Independent management and development of an existing client portfolio in French-speaking Switzerland (regions of Valais, southern canton of Fribourg, Chablais, Riviera and eastern Lausanne area)
- Active exploitation of market potential through cross-selling, acquisition of new clients and reactivation of the existing portfolio
- Establishment and maintenance of long-term client relationships at all hierarchical levels
- Identification of key decision-makers and targeted action to achieve defined sales targets
- Development and implementation of commercial strategies aimed at increasing client turnover and profitability
- Planning and conducting client appointments, presentations and meetings, as well as participation in trade fairs and client events
- Responsibility for budget planning, sales forecasting and achievement of objectives, including implementation of corrective measures
- Preparation and monitoring of offers, contracts and commercial agreements
- Meticulous maintenance of data and documentation in the CRM system
- Close collaboration with internal departments, including purchasing, marketing, product management and sales
- Continuous market monitoring and communication to internal stakeholders of relevant trends, opportunities and developments
What you bring
- Basic commercial training with technical advancement, or basic technical training with commercial advancement
- Further training in sales, commerce or marketing
- Several years of professional experience (ideally five years or more) in key account management or B2B sales
- Ideally, sector knowledge in consumer electronics, electrical engineering, IT, telecommunications or distribution
- Fluent French (negotiation level), both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of English or German, with German knowledge being an additional asset
- Very good command of MS Office tools (especially Excel) and experience with CRM systems
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent professional presentation
- Strong client orientation and ability to build long-term, trust-based business relationships
- Analytical mindset, thoroughness and solution-oriented approach
- High initiative, autonomy and results-driven culture
- Mobility required in French-speaking Switzerland (approx. 60%)
