System Engineer (m/f/d)

SIGNAL AG is a full-service provider of products, systems, and services for signaling, information, parking management, marking, and traffic control, employing a total of 280 employees at its headquarters in Büren an der Aare and 13 locations throughout Switzerland.

To strengthen our team in Büren a/A, we are looking for a committed individual as a System Engineer 50-100% (m/f/d) by agreement.

Your main tasks

• Engineering in the client and server area as well as integration of new network components
• Planning, coordinating, and implementing changes together with operations, engineering, and providers
• Independently detecting, analyzing, and resolving disruptions and performance limitations
• Documentation of system configurations and instructions
• Support, coordination, and assistance with user concerns regarding software, hardware, printer systems, and infrastructure services
• Leading and participating in various IT projects
• Support in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support

Your profile

• Completed IT specialist EFZ or comparable education
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a System Engineer
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, M365/Azure, and VMware virtualization solutions
• RDS, VEEAM, PRTG, firewall, and network knowledge is an advantage
• Good analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
• Very good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English (spoken and written), good French skills are an advantage
