- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and warmly.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence with care.
- Assist with all reception-related tasks and duties as needed.
Skills
- Experience in hospitality is a must, including Swiss experience.
- Punctual, reliable, and calm under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of responsibility.

About the job
The traditional, cozy, and homely Bernese Oberland family hotel where every guest from near and far immediately feels at home. Our branch, the Hotel Weisses Kreuz, is located centrally right by the train station.
To support our reception team, we are looking for a receptionist for the summer season 2026 or possibly longer.
You are an upbeat personality, enjoy your work, and delight guests with your friendly and sympathetic demeanor? You appreciate front desk work and enjoy making guests' stays an unforgettable experience?
Start date: March - or by arrangement
Your profile
- Experience in gastronomy/hospitality (including Swiss experience)
- punctual, reliable, not easily rattled
- independent working and willingness to help
- good manners and sense of responsibility
- possibly also experience in service or willing to "pitch in" in this area?
Languages
- German & English required, French an advantage
Your tasks
- Check In/Check Out
- Phone, emails, correspondence, billing
- all related tasks in the reception area
