In the midst of life – close to people.
What makes us special? As a versatile peripheral hospital with heart and mind, we live a trusting togetherness and a working atmosphere characterised by openness, respect and appreciation.
Modern working means for us: acting humanely, with freedom to shape and an open ear for each other. Our employees are right in the middle with us – professionally and personally. Family-friendly conditions and jointly designed duty rosters are part of our everyday life.
For our surgical department at the Burgdorf location with 28 beds – including 8 in the maternity ward – we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed person as part of the expansion of our bed capacity
Shape nursing, empower people – your field of activity with us
- You ensure patient-oriented, safe and professional nursing – according to our understanding of nursing and the skill & grade mix concept
- You actively bring current expertise into the team and are an important contact person for complex nursing situations and nursing-related questions
- You use your expertise to adapt processes and conditions and to further develop procedures
- You develop and promote nursing quality in your department as well as across departments – always keeping efficiency and impact in mind
- You collect relevant nursing data, evaluate it and use it for quality development
- You promote interprofessional collaboration and utilise the resources of the support areas
- You align yourself with our in-house Lean philosophy and actively contribute
What you need to be successful
- You have completed training as a diploma-qualified nurse (AKP, DN II, HF, FH) and have a NDK Nursing Responsibility qualification – or are willing to complete it
- Ideally, you already have experience in the acute care sector
- The medical diversity of a family-oriented peripheral hospital excites you and you see it as an exciting, enriching challenge
- You put the well-being of your patients at the centre and treat all people with respect and appreciation
- You work responsibly, conscientiously and reliably
- Further development is a matter of course for you
- You are communicative, flexible, resilient – and bring self-motivation and team spirit
- You have a confident command of German (B2 level for foreign language diploma)
Our offer
With careful deployment planning, we try to accommodate individual wishes as much as possible.
Want to progress? We need and promote open and willing-to-learn employees. We are open to discussing future plans and wishes.
Special holiday plans? If the annual 25 to 32 days of holiday are not enough, the possibility of unpaid leave can be discussed with us. Our employees also receive an additional day off for their birthday!
Our employment conditions are generally based on the collective labour agreement (CLA) for the staff of Bern hospitals and clinics.
Our kitchens in Burgdorf and Langnau largely work with seasonal, healthy and local products. Employees benefit from a discount and can indulge themselves with a varied buffet selection. Microwaves for self-brought food are also available.
We want to be a modern employer towards our employees, create a good interpersonal atmosphere so that our employees always feel right in the middle and comfortable.
Employees can use various parking spaces depending on the location. Access and billing are via Parkingpay card.
To promote our corporate culture, we give our employees a day off. Colleagues from various departments can participate in a ski, bike, motorbike, hiking, fun, Christmas market or culture day.
On the intranet, our employees find information/links to numerous attractive offers and benefit from reduced prices, e.g. at the indoor pool, cinema, car or when purchasing from regional pharmacies.
You want to move nursing instead of just carrying it out? We look forward to hearing from you!
