In the Sensor Development department we play in the Champions League of measurement technology and take care of the development and optimisation of sensors, measurement systems and calibration procedures.

Project and Development Engineer - Sensor Development (m/f/d) 80-100%
Your typical day
- End-to-end product development: You develop piezoelectric sensors for pressure and force as well as measurement systems from the initial idea through validation to successful market launch
- Project management with responsibility: You plan, lead and control development projects independently while keeping budgets and deadlines firmly under control
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: You act as the interface to internal specialist departments as well as external development partners
- Measuring and investigating: you supervise type tests, qualifications, measurement campaigns and metrological investigations on sensors and calibration systems
- Technical product responsibility: As an expert for parts of the high-volume sensor portfolio, you competently advise internal interfaces (PM, production, purchasing) on special orders, change requests and process optimisations
Your profile
- Solid foundation: Successful degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, materials science)
- Product development / project management: Solid experience in mechanical product development combined with a passion for project management
- Specialist know-how: Ideally, you already have in-depth knowledge of measurement and system technology as well as sensor technology
- Strong toolset: Experienced use of CAD (SolidWorks), FEM (Abaqus) and PM tools (Clarity/Jira) as well as basics in software engineering (MATLAB/LabView/Python) complete your profile
- Doer mentality: A conceptual, customer-oriented personality with multitasking skills who enjoys taking responsibility and thrives in a dynamic high-tech environment
- Language skills: Business fluent German and English skills are important for successful collaboration in our international team
