About the job
In this varied job
- you receive goods, check them and enter them into the system
- you store the goods and keep an overview with our warehouse software
- you compile orders (picking) and prepare the goods for dispatch
- you safely package the products, e.g. with strapping machines or stretch wrappers
- you create delivery and transport documents
- you assist with warehouse management and count stock during inventory
- you load and unload lorries with modern industrial trucks (e.g. forklifts)
- you transport goods internally from A to B
- you take on other tasks related to warehousing and logistics such as disposal, maintenance and cleaning
You will succeed here if
- you have completed compulsory schooling: Canton Solothurn Sek B or E, Canton Bern lower secondary level I, level P (primary school) or level S (secondary school)
- you can express yourself well in German (spoken and written)
- you enjoy physical work
- you have a quick grasp, a sense for numbers and order as well as a good memory
- you enjoy working in a team
- you are characterised by accuracy, reliability and diligence
