About the job
For the outpatient forensic service, we are looking for you as a committed senior consultant. With us, you will work in an exciting environment between medicine, law and society – with a lot of responsibility, but also genuine scope for creativity.
- You will carry out treatments under supervision as part of a comprehensive forensic psychiatric treatment chain within the outpatient team of the Competence Centre for Forensics.
- You will work in crime prevention.
- You will actively collaborate with external treatment partners and referring authorities.
- In your varied daily work, you will participate in collegial professional exchanges, case discussions and further training, and maintain close communication with the rest of the treatment team.
- You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or an advanced trainee in this field.
- You meet the necessary requirements for a professional practice permit from the canton of St. Gallen before starting the position.
- You are willing to further your education in this area, for example to obtain the specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or the focus title in forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy.
- You have an interest in forensic psychiatry.
- You possess a strong sense of responsibility, decisiveness and a reflective attitude.
- You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form (mandatory C1 level).

First day at work
