Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and ranks among the best hospital institutions worldwide according to the Newsweek 2025 ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.
More than 600 cleaning and hygiene agents ensure daily disinfection of hospital premises, care areas, offices, and passageways by applying rigorous protocols according to current health standards.
By joining our Cleaning and Hygiene Service, you will become part of a professional, dynamic, and multicultural team whose services concretely contribute to the quality of care.
Mission
- You ensure the cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, premises, and equipment while respecting strict hospital standards
- You prepare and use materials, devices, and cleaning products according to their use, hazard level, and surfaces to be treated
- You learn to operate specialized machines, such as scrubbers or single-disc machines
- You participate in waste sorting and monitoring cleaning supply stocks
- You ensure the maintenance and tidiness of technical rooms while respecting safety and hygiene instructions
- You contribute daily to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Profile
- You have completed your compulsory schooling
- You are motivated by manual work, rigorous, punctual, and organized
- You show a strong interest in hygiene, cleanliness, and service
- You are comfortable working in a team
- You have good physical condition
- You master spoken and written French (minimum B1 level)
