About the job
In this responsible position, you take on the operational responsibility of a location as well as the overall coordination of facility maintenance for all four locations of Domicil Bern West and implement strategic planning tasks in the personnel, organizational, and business management areas.
You lead the cross-location facility maintenance team (approx. 10 employees including apprentices and interns) both professionally and personally and are supported by the location-responsible specialists.
You are responsible for the sustainable preservation of the value of the buildings as well as the entire infrastructure and ensure a well-maintained and professional appearance of all locations. In addition, you ensure the flawless maintenance of buildings and technical systems and are responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of all facility maintenance tasks.
As a central operational interface to construction projects, you accompany their implementation and ensure smooth operation. You are also responsible for the further development of the CAFM system and ensure compliance with company-wide guidelines.
In your role as safety officer, you ensure the implementation and compliance with all relevant legal regulations. In addition to your leadership role, you actively work in the team and regularly take on on-call duties.
• Certified Facility Maintenance Specialist EFZ or basic craft training EFZ
• Professional examination as caretaker with federal diploma or similar
• Advanced professional examination as Facility Management Manager or caretaker HFP is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable environment and leadership experience is an advantage
• Safety officer training (SiBe)
• Trainer certification is an advantage
