About the job
The rehabilitation clinic in Baden-Dättwil and the rehabilitation clinic Freihof in Baden offer rehabilitation at a high medical level for musculoskeletal, neurological, internal medicine and rheumatological patients. Thanks to interdisciplinary collaboration and the excellent specialist expertise of the treatment teams, we tailor our efficient therapy programmes individually to the needs of these patients.
Your Tasks
- Care: Medical care of inpatients in cooperation with the senior physician and the chief physician, night and weekend duties are covered by our on-site doctors
- Planning: Implementation of rehabilitation planning for inpatients, admission and discharge examinations, ward rounds
- Contact Person: Medical contact person for medical questions within the interdisciplinary collaboration of the professional groups integrated into the rehabilitation process (e.g. nursing, therapy, psychologists etc.) as well as for referring doctors, general practitioners and relatives
Your Profile
- Qualifications: A Swiss federal state examination or a foreign diploma recognised by MEBEKO is required
- Career Entry: The position offers excellent opportunities for career starters to learn acute inpatient medicine, as many patients require intensive internal medicine care.
- Interests: Interest in neurology as well as neurophysiological diagnostics and treatment, PMR, general internal medicine and rheumatology (including at least six months of outpatient work mainly with acute pain syndromes and inflammatory systemic diseases)
- Personality: Professional and social competence for good interdisciplinary collaboration
- Working Method: Structured and independent working is expected; our senior doctors provide close professional supervision during daily handovers and thrice-weekly ward rounds
- Languages: Good German skills, Italian is also an advantage

- Further Training: Further training authorisation Category B Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Cat B for Phys. Med, recognised as a C-clinic in Baden-Dättwil for one year) as well as General Internal Medicine (AIM) and Rheumatology (SIWF applications pending for the Freihof clinic in Baden). Rotations to the C-clinic Neurology in Baden-Dättwil are possible if interested. We also promote scientific work up to doctoral level.
