The Office for Territorial Development of Graubünden (UST-GR) shapes the future of our unique Alpine living space. With around 35 motivated employees, we are committed to using land responsibly as a limited resource and finding the right balance between the various demands placed on our living space. Our tasks range from implementing the government’s territorial planning policy directives, supporting local and regional planning, to examining building applications outside the building zones. Transparency, professional expertise and the protection of our natural life foundations are at the centre of our attention.
To strengthen our team in the utilisation planning and EFZ section, we are looking for a regional planner as a district planner (80 – 100%) from a date to be agreed.
- First point of contact for municipalities and their planning offices on matters concerning territorial development, utilisation planning and constructions outside building zones (EFZ).
- Review of municipal utilisation plans and preparation of corresponding decisions for the approval authority.
- Management of EFZ procedures as well as examination of EFZ applications and drafting of EFZ permits.
- Preparation of statements regarding other territorially relevant projects.
- Support of territorially significant processes at the municipal level.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent diploma) completed in territorial planning, architecture or a related professional field, ideally combined with several years of professional experience.
- Independent, structured working method oriented towards users and solutions.
- Ability to work in a team, affability, flexibility and ability to cope with stressful situations.
- Good knowledge of the Canton of Graubünden and its social situation.
- Experience or knowledge in urban planning and architecture.
- Strong communication skills as well as excellent written and spoken German. Knowledge of another cantonal language is an advantage.
