Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager: Construction & Architecture for the holistic development and realisation of diverse building projects. The focus is on functionally demanding industrial, commercial, and production buildings as well as selected residential projects, which are accompanied from the initial project idea to handover. You combine project planning and ArchiCAD design with sound cost planning and take on the coordination of internal and external project participants. The role offers comprehensive project responsibility at the interface between architecture, construction project management, and client representation.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive management of building projects from the initial project idea and feasibility study to acceptance and handover
Development of functional and economical project, usage, and building concepts for industrial, commercial, production, and residential buildings
Independent handling of project planning and 3D design with ArchiCAD
Preparation and control of cost estimates, quotations, and project budgets
Ongoing monitoring of construction costs, schedules, quality, and project risks
Coordination of architects, specialist planners, authorities, companies, and internal clients
Assuming the interface function between client, planning, and execution
Management of planning and realisation processes across the relevant SIA phases
Coordination of tenders, submissions, and awards as well as participation in contractor selection
Development of technically and economically optimised solutions considering operational processes, building technology, and usage concepts
Support during construction execution, acceptance, and commissioning until complete project handover
Ensuring structured project, cost, and decision documentation
Qualifications:
Completed basic technical training in construction, for example as a draftsperson EFZ specialising in architecture or comparable qualification
Further education at HF/FH level in architecture, construction management, construction project management, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in construction planning and management of building projects
Sound knowledge in cost planning, project planning, and construction project management
Very good user skills in ArchiCAD 3D
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
Driving licence category B
