About the job

You review instead of booking. At MILA, automation does the preliminary work for annual financial statements and taxes. You are responsible for the outcome, advise clients on an equal footing, and work remotely, 60 to 100%.

MILA is the external finance & operations partner for Swiss SMEs: digital and direct. We are a team of 7 people (as of 01.12.2026) and growing. Our clients run their business, we take care of the rest. You will soon be responsible for the taxes and financial statements part.

Your role

• You are responsible for annual financial statements and tax returns for your mandates, from reviewing the preliminary work to professional approval
• You work with our automation: you know what it does and recognise where it is wrong
• You advise your clients daily on taxes and accounting, on an equal footing
• You are the professional contact person in the team for complex questions
• You help shape how we work and automate

What you bring

• Commercial training with further education in fiduciary or accounting (professional certificate is a plus, not a must)
• Several years of experience in annual financial statements and taxes, ideally in fiduciary services
• Confidence in accounting and VAT
• Enjoyment of digital work, you know bexio or learn it quickly
• You work independently and reflectively: you report errors and uncertainties early, seek help before it becomes urgent, and accept feedback
